Where do we play?

• All regularly scheduled home games are played at the Russellville Soccer Park, 901 Lock and Dam Road.  Most practices are at the Russellville Soccer Park.  AVSA does attempt to offer regional practice locations, including AVSA  - South in Danville and AVSA - Clarksville.

How are teams formed?

• All teams are formed based on the birth year of the player.  So a "2010 team" could include any or all players born January 1, 2010 - December 31, 2010.

Which ages play together?

• AVSA will make every effort to form age pure and gender pure divisions, meaning we will try to form teams with only players born in the same calendar year, per US Soccer guidelines.

When is the registration deadline? 

• The registration deadline for Spring 2019 is February 23.

Are there tryouts?

• There are no tryouts for 4U-10U teams. 11U and older teams will tryout prior to each fall season. All players who sign up by the registration deadline will be placed on teams.

Do I have to pay the entire price at once?

• AVSA offers two payment plans.  Most players will register and pay the entire registration fee in one lump sum.  Some players may opt for three equal, monthly payments.

How much are Uniforms?

• The AVSA Uniform is included in player registration for 6U-10U players.  11U and Older players order jerseys on two year cycles. All players will receive two AVSA jerseys. 

How long is the season?

• AVSA Schedules an 8-game season each fall and spring. The first in-house games will start two weeks after Labor Day weekend and the season lasts until the weekend before Veteran's Day. Spring season starts the weekend of Daylight Savings Time, and last until the first weekend of May. 

What time do games start?

• Most games are scheduled on Saturdays. Exceptions may be made for tournaments and make up games.

Is there an In-House League after 10U?

• No. All players in Russellville who sign up for soccer after turning 10 will have to travel.  Arkansas Valley is a member of the Arkansas Premier Clubs and the Central Arkansas Recreational League.  Each of these leagues sets a mission of assigning an equal number of home (Russellville) and away games.
